The Art Of The Circle

A guest curation by Vogtle Contemporary, Switzerland.

The circle is one of the most venerable forms in the history of art. As the “vault of heaven” its meaning has been associated with the concept of time and, by extension, all things spiritual.

Considered as the most perfect shap, the circle is an endless loop with no beginning or end and represents the cyclical nature of life and death, as well as completion, unity and wholeness.
