The last great cubist book, and perhaps the last great illustrated mystical book. Contains virtually the entire corpus of Albert Gleizes’ intaglio prints.
Illustrated with 57 original etchings (Loyer 21-77) by Gleizes, including 12 full-page and hors-texte.
Edition limited to 235 numbered copies printed on extremely fine Montval laid paper.
This copy, exceptionally, has the suite of 15 large “eaux-fortes préparatoires” (Loyer 6-20), intended only for the first 45 copies.
Loose as issued, in publisher’s board chemise and slipcase. FINE AND BRIGHT WITH NO DEFECTS.
