The condition note refers to the image…the colours are bright and fresh. This is a large and vibrant Calder artwork. However, there is a minor issue with this sheet/the upper margin which the second image spells out. The work was originally mounted but inexpertly affixed to the sheet itself…this has subsequently been removed and that process has left some abrasions along the upper extreme edge of the sheet. It does not impinge on the image itself in any way and could be easily hidden again (if considered necessary) beneath a mount. Alternatively the whole sheet could be simply reframed without a mount at all/’as is’ given the minor nature of the issue itself. This work usually sells for £2500… reasonable offers will be considered…any queries, just ask…
