Etching printed on paper folded into 3 sections
Folded Constance Pregnant, Leslie’s first published etching, portrays his wife in one of her pregnancies. Roughly nine by six feet, the print is far larger than any etching press at Graphicstudio. To accommodate the image, Leslie made three separate copper plates, and the paper was folded twice, to go through the press three times.
