Amir H. Akhavan studied painting at Boston University’s College of Fine Arts. His education includes art residencies with Ron Tomlinson, the New York School of Drawing Painting and Sculpture, the Vermont Studio Center, and extensive collaborative work with Gary Lichtenstein. Amir lives and paints in Tehran. His work has been exhibited in the Middle East, the US and Europe.
