Chiho Aoshima was born 1974 in Tokyo, Japan. She entered the art scene with no formal training, using computer software to create depictions of ghosts, demons, schoolgirls and beautiful natural landscapes. Chiho says “My work feels like strands of my thoughts have flown around the universe before coming back to materialize”. She has gained International attention with several high profile projects such as her work with Issey Miyake for her spring/summer collection in 2004.
