In Autumn 1998, Christo and Jeanne-Claude transformed 162 trees around Fondation Beyeler into a sculptural masterwork, wrapping them in 55,000 square meters of polyester fabric. It was the artists’ pièce de résistance in a long history of wrapping trees, and created an ever-changing panorama of form, texture, and color. This limited Art Edition, complete with print and swatch of the project fabric, traces the project story start to finish.

Limited Art Edition of 1,000 copies, each signed by Christo, Jeanne-Claude, and Wolfgang Volz, with an original cibachrome and a piece of the original project fabric
