Dagoberto Rodriguez Sanchez, born in 1969 in Caibarién, Cuba, is an ISA graduate (1994). He co-founded Los Carpinteros in 1992, a collective renowned globally, with exhibitions in prestigious venues like MOMA, Whitney Museum, Guggenheim, Centre Pompidou, Tate Modern, and Museo Reina Sofia. Based in Madrid and Havana, his work merges architecture, design, and sculpture, using humor and irony to explore art, politics, and societal themes. Watercolor is central to his process, aiding collaboration, idea development, and conceptual exploration.
