Damien Hirst’s Honesty features his famous cherry blossom paintings in this large scale artwork. Hirst spent a significant proportion of his recent career studying cherry blossom and this series features elements from throughout his career. He created The Virtues, an eight-part series, each titled after one of The Eight Virtues of Bushidō according to Nitobe Inazō – Justice, Courage, Mercy, Politeness, Honesty, Honour, Loyalty, Control.
