The publication depicts Lamelas’ painting ‘Mujer corriendo en doce secciones’ (‘Woman Running in Twelve Sections’). Originally made in 1965, the painting is no longer extant. Printed using only a single slide photograph for reference – also taken in 1965 and the pieces’ sole documentation – the edition reactivates Lamelas’ lost painting in a new form.

Keeping with the material and conceptual considerations of the painting that inspired this publication, Lamelas has designed a welded aluminum frame for the edition. The edition was printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper and incorporates chine-colléd alumininum foil elements hand-applied to each print.
