David Lynch’s new suite of Distorted Nude Photogravures is his first series published with Tandem Press since 2008. In these twelve prints, distorted figures contort, bend, reach, and pose within strange environments that, while mostly unclearly defined, seem to be domestic spaces. The images are set within a deep velvety black square. This format, reminiscent of film, aligns the prints with Lynch’s cinematic work and lends a voyeuristic edge to the images.
This artwork is signed and numbered on the front by David Lynch and comes with a documentation sheet. Printed and published by Tandem Press.
