Elizabeth Murray reshaped Modernist abstraction into a high-spirited, cartoon-based, language of form whose subjects included domestic life, relationships and the nature of painting itself. Created as an original screenprint in 1993, Murray’s, The Clock, is hand-signed, dated and numbered in pencil, measuring 35 x 35 in. (89 x 89 cm), unframed, from the edition of 108 as published by Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, NYC.
