Felipe Goes Biography

Felipe Góes. 1983. São Paulo based artist.


The artist works mostly with landscapes and cosmos imagery, in a wish to discuss images production and perception in contemporaneity, and to address issues related to nature, environment, and our existence on planet Earth.

Accomplished solo exhibitions at Galeria Kogan Amaro (Zürich, 2022 and São Paulo, 2022 and 2019), Galeria Murilo Castro (Belo Horizonte, 2018), Instituto Moreira Salles (Poços de Caldas, 2017), Galeria Virgílio (São Paulo, 2016 and 2018), Central Galeria de Arte (São Paulo, 2014), Phoenix Institute of Contemporary Art (Arizona, USA, 2014) and Usina do Gasômetro (Porto Alegre, 2012).He was engaged in group exhibitions such as “Ephemeral Existence” – Teleportal (Studio 620, New York, USA, 2022), “Mapping Spaces” (Kentler International Drawing Space, New York, USA, 2016), “2nd Bienal Internacional de Asunción” (Asuncíon, Paraguay, 2017),“Utopia de colecionar o pluralismo da arte” (Fundação Marcos Amaro, Itu, 2019).
He was also engaged artist-in-residence programs in School of Visual Arts (SVA) online (New York, USA, 2021); Phoenix Institute of Contemporary Art (Arizona, USA, 2014) and Sacatar Foundation (Itaparica, Bahia, Brazil, 2012).
