Bisi was a Franciscan monk who was a student of Lucio Massari and was a miniaturist. Above all, truly he also was a “renaissance man” whose erudition won him the task of putting together the art collection of Duke Alfonso IV d’Este, Duke of Modena (Modena 1634 – 1662 Modena).
