Invader’s invasion kits draw from the artist’s practice of installing tile mosaics depicting 8-bit imagery in heavily-trafficked public areas, offering pre-assembled sets of tiles for civilians to install per the artist’s instructions. ‘Invasion Kit #8’ takes the shape of one of Invader’s signature aliens, a single red tile on the figure’s forehead serving as the titular third eye.
