After ten years based in his New York studio, Jacinto Moros (1959) returned home, and today the artist lives and works in Madrid. He is well-known for his sculptures and three-dimensional embossing graphics.
Art historians call Jacinto Moros’ work ‘post-minimalism’ or
‘new geometric abstraction’. His artworks are based on an interlaced, corrugated line structure that comes about through a poetic and unique, puristic esthetic.
A wide range of large museums have works by Jacinto Moros in their collections, including the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and the Whitney Museum in New York.
