A stunning livre d’artiste, ILLUSTRATED WITH 18 ORIGINAL COLOR LITHOGRAPHS BY JACQUES VILLON (Ginestet & Pouillon app. 73-90). 156 pp. From an edition limited to 149 copies, this is ONE OF ONLY THIRTY COPIES PRINTED ON EXTREMELY FINE RIVES WOVE PAPER, WITH AN EXTRA SUITE OF THE LITHOGRAPHS PRINTED IN COLOR (on antique Japanese paper) AND ANOTHER EXTRA SUITE OF THE LITHOGRAPHS PRINTED IN BLACK (on Japon nacré). So there are 54 original lithographs in all. Large folio. Loose as issued in original wraps, housed in the original cloth folding case. FINE AND BRIGHT, WITH NO DEFECTS.
