This soft-ground etching was created in 1993 for the Fort Worth Modern Centinel Portfolio.  Surls had chosen to collaborate with Flatbed Press to create an etching edition.  His drawing style fits the process of soft-ground etching.  He drew and mapped a complicated field of energy between two humans.

Flatbed has a Printer’s Proof available.  It is numbered PP II
