Jamie Reid is a British artist and graphic designer, best known for his iconic and politically charged visual work, particularly the album artwork and promotional materials he created for the punk rock band the Sex Pistols during the 1970s, contributing significantly to the punk aesthetic and counterculture.

Jamie Reid

Jamie Reid (1947–) is British artist and anarchist. His works, consisting of letters cut from newspapers in the style of a ransom note, are considered part of the defining imagine of British Punk Rock. He is most famous for his Iconic cover of the Sex Pistols album ‘Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols’, as well as the controversial single cover ‘God Save The Queen’ that features Queen Elizabeth II with a safety pin through her nose and swastikas in her eyes.
