The Artist

Jan Van Huchtenberg

Student of Thomas Wyck in Holland and then of F.A. van der Meulen in Paris, Huchtenberg ended up spending most of his artistic life in Italy, painting chiefly for Italian nobility. The majority of his works, whether painted or etched, were of military scenes.
