This screenprint on 4-ply museum board is a limited edition print created in 2015 from an artwork originally created by the artist in 1983. Part of an edition of 60, this print measures 38 1/2 by 84 inches. It is stamped and signed by Lisane Basquiat and Jeanine Heriveaux, the artist’s sisters and administrators of the Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat.

Jean-Michel Basquiat

Basquiat produced many prints, his first prints being created in the 1980s. Most of Basquiat’s prints were lithograph prints. All of Basquiat’s prints are original prints as Basquiat saw printmaking as a distinct medium to create artworks.
