This screenprint on paper is part of a limited edition of 50. Originally created in 1982–1983, this artwork was printed in 2019. It is authenticated by the Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat, and it is stamped and signed by Lisane Basquiat and Jeanine Heriveaux, the artist’s sisters and administrators of the Jean-Michel Basquiat estate.

Jean-Michel Basquiat

Basquiat produced many prints, his first prints being created in the 1980s. Most of Basquiat’s prints were lithograph prints. All of Basquiat’s prints are original prints as Basquiat saw printmaking as a distinct medium to create artworks.
