Joanne Freeman received a B.S. in Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin and an M.A. in Studio Art from New York University. In 2013 she curated the group show “WIT” at the Painting Center in New York and in 2012 she co-curated with Kim Uchiyama “Color-Time-Space” at the Lohin Geduld Gallery in New York, Janet Kurnatowsi Gallery in Brooklyn and Hofstra University, Hempstead NY. “I think about the play of light on the geometry of the city, and the graphics of mid-century media.”
