FROM THE COLLECTION OF SYLVAN COLE, author of the catalogue raisonné of Hirsch’s prints, longtime director of Associated American Artists (publisher of this lithograph), and longtime friend and collaborator of the artist.
With the original card designed to be affixed to the back of the frame. This card, on fine laid paper, was issued with the lithograph and includes a brief biography of the artist. Nowadays it is very rare to find such cards, especially in pristine condition.
A perfect impression on fine wove paper.
Signed in pencil by the artist.
In excellent condition.
