From May 25th to June 27th, 2016, JR was invited by the “world’s largest museum” and chose to make one of its symbols disappear, the pyramid of the Louvre, by the way of an unexpected anamorphosis.
This image belongs to a series of 30 photographs captured from June 7th to 21st 2016, the day of the summer solstice. Every day, JR photographed the installation at the exact time of sunrise and sunset, giving each of these images a unique character as evidenced by their title.
This is numbered /250 on the bottom left corner and signed by JR on the bottom right corner.
