The final original print created during Keith Haring’s life in 1990 – though sadly he passed away before being able to hand-sign it – Best Buddies is an original screenprint in colors on wove paper. The artwork is hand-titled and numbered from the edition of 200 in pencil (recto), with a Certificate of Authenticity (verso) that is hand-dated, numbered, and signed by Julia Gruen, the executor of the Keith Haring Foundation, and Anthony Shriver of Best Buddies of America, Inc. Measuring 26 x 32 in. (66 x 81.3 cm), unframed, the artwork is designated as Littman p. 171 in the artist’s catalogue raisonne.
