This Château Mouton Rothschild lithograph was designed as a label for their 1988 Mouton Rothschild Pauillac vintage. It is a satirical version of the Dancing Rams. For decades, the label for this vintage has been designed by contemporary artists such as Haring, Miro, Chagall, Picasso and more recently Jeff Koons.

Haring’s inscribed signature in gold ink and Phillipine de Rothschild’s signature stamp in red ink, published by Chateau Mouton Rothschild in 1988.

Measures 52 x 40 cm.

Unframed and stored flat.

Keith Haring (1958-1990) rose to prominence in America in the 1980s with his graffiti styled pop art that featured bold, energetic figures, lines and shapes. Haring addressed various social themes in his work with bold colour, which has been exhibited extensively internationally. Today his work held in major collections and museums around the world.
