Kevin Fletcher was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1956. He received his BFA in printmaking and graphic design from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1978. The following year he attended Northern Illinois University for graduate study in printmaking and history.
In 1981 Fletcher received his MFA in printmaking from Syracuse University. He has to his credit a long listing of solo exhibiitons since 1984 and his work has been included in extensive group exhibitions. Fletcher resides in Santa Rosa, California and teaches at the Santa Rosa Junior College. He has been the Visiting Studio Artist at Pennsylvania School for the Arts, California State Fullerton, Shasta College, Pacific Northwest College of Art, Seattle Printmaking Collective and San Jose State University.
Permanent public collections holding his work include the Cincinnati Art Museum, Cleveland Museum of Art, Portland Art Museum, University of Rochester, Lowe Art Museum of Syracuse University, University of Wisconsin and the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp and the Centrum Frans Masereel in Kasterlee, Belgium.
