Kiki Smith

Kiki Smith is an American artist born in Germany 1954. She is a pre-eminent figure in the artistic movement that unites the human condition the natural world. Working across a range of media including photography, drawing, printing and painting, she has explored explores self-portraiture, anatomy and female iconography. Her Feminist art is concerned with the cultural and political roles of women. Her images are often disturbing depictions of the human body.
