Working with an extremely large format for an etching, Letscher created this optically brilliant continuous line drawing on a 36 x 48-inch copper.  The line was inked and the surface rolled with a transparent blue.

Lance Letscher is a contemporary American collage artist. Known for his meticulously constructed compositions, he sources material from a range of antique papers, discarded notebooks, magazines, and record covers. Recently, Lance has returned to a favorite medium, intaglio. Flatbed is publishing a series of new drypoints and etching with Lance in 2020. Letscher lives and works in Austin, TX.
