“This is not a portrait of a person, it’s a portrait of an image twisted by our collective desires.” This special edition of Sphinx was created for Wallpaper* magazine’s 2013 Handmade exhibition in Milan, an annual showcase of unique pieces by leading designers, artists and international brands, all commissioned by the magazine’s editors. For this iteration Quinn selected the digital print process to accentuate the tones of the image, brilliantly sharpened with a black diamond dust background.
