“July Series #2” is a painterly abstract monotype with expressionistic brush strokes, reflecting the artist’s deep understanding and mastery of the language of Abstract Expressionism. It is printed rich blacks and grey on 100% cotton rag paper, signed in pencil, lower right corner.
Mark Saltz is a Painter who lives and works in New York City. He is represented by JHB Gallery. He has had solo exhibitions at Northampton College, PA; Barbara Toll Fine Arts, NYC; Ted Greenwald Gallery, NYC. Awards include The National Endowment for the Arts, Pollock-Krasner Foundation and the Mid-Atlantic States Award. Collections include Weatherspoon Museum, Brooklyn Museum, The University of Arkansas and The Neuberger Museum.
