Born in 1994 in Fontainebleau, France, Mathilde Busch holds a Diplôme des Métiers d’art in Reliure Dorure from the École Estienne in Paris. In 2016 Busch was awarded the Voyager pour apprendre les métiers d’art – sponsored by UNESCO and Fondation Culture & Diversité – allowing her to deepen her printmaking knowledge at the Centro de Edición de Buenos Aires, Argentina. From 2016 to 2018 she worked on her own production at the collaborative studio Atelier Bo Halbirk (Paris). Mathilde is currently imprimeur lithographe at the distinguished atelier Guilbaud in Paris.
Mathilde was shortlisted for the Jerwood Printmaking Today Prize, 2019.
