Aplacado (Siete cascos percudidos) is a large (48” x 36’) aquatint created in 2016. It involved drilling through the copper plate for embossed while areas and a staged aquatint etch. See photographs for image of process.
Aragôn is interested in the disappearance of human life and uses printmaking processes to “erase” while creating.
