AN OUTSTANDING PROOF, WITH FULL MARGINS, ON EXTREMELY FINE CHINESE LAID PAPER.
Ambroise Vollard commissioned this lithograph (and three others) for an edition of Mallarmé’s “Un coup de dés jamais n’abolira le hazard”, which was never printed.
In perfect condition.
Very few impressions were printed; proofs like this one, on fine Chinese laid paper, are of the greatest rarity.
