Original softground etching printed à la poupée in colors on heavy Auvergne hand-made laid paper bearing the “Richard de Bas” watermark.
Hand-signed in pencil in the margin lower right Picasso, dated in the plate (in reverse) upper right “19.8.64 III”.
A superb artist’s proof impression of Baer’s only state, printed after the steelfacing of the plate, apart from the numbered edition of 50, (there were 15 such épreuves d’artiste, for an overall edition of 65). Published by Galerie Louise Leiris, Paris, 1965; printed by Pennequin for Atelier Crommelynck, Paris.
