Lithograph/paper, 41 x 32 cm, Regards sur Paris is a complete set of 33 color lithographs from 1962 printed on Arches paper.
It contains original lithographs by Marc Chagall (3; Mourlot 351-353), Pablo Picasso (3; Bloch 1034-1036), Georges Braque (3), Kees van Dongen (3; Juffermans 33-35), André Masson (3), André Beaudin (5), Maurice Brianchon (4), Jean Carzou (3), Dunoyer de Segonzac (3), Jacques Villon (3).
The text is in French. The set includes – a title page, a table of contents, illustrations outside the text, as well as a colophon bearing the autographs of all the artists.
The portfolio is housed in a red cloth-covered box, with a blue velvet interior and a gold embossed pattern with text on the spine.
This is the 85th copy of the 180 published. The authors of the texts that make up this book-minicollection-of-celebrities-of-European-graphics are: Alexandre Arnoux, Gérard Bauer, Hervé Bazin, André Billy, Roland Dorgelès, Jean Giono, Philippe Hériat, Pierre Mac Orlan, Raymond Queneau and Armand Salacrou (members of the Académie française).
