6-color lithograph/screenprint assemblage
Works created in the 1990s at Graphicstudio are more typical of Anuszkiewicz’s color work, contrasting bright, flat complementary colors. Blue Tinted Star, Triangular Yellows and Grey Tinted Rainbow combine lithography and silkscreen in cutout shapes that are cleanly assembled together in precise geometrical forms. The welded sculptures, including the large-scale unique construction Azure, project the effects of color on perception into the third dimension.
