About the work: God Bless America is a serigraph reproduction of an enamel pin the artist found while on vacation at Disney World in 2018. It was worn, battered and lost by its original owner until the artist discovered it. As with a great deal of the artist’s work, the found image, is recast, and delivered with typical irony. The message is one that optimizes America; the man made construct of the sentiment, the country and the object.
