An exquisite lithograph produced on a very textural Japanese ‘washi’ paper, published by Yasukawa as part of their collaborative calendar project.
“The poem refers to a wolf,” says Munakata, “but in the print he turned out to be a dog with human teeth. I admit I rather like his humorous face and the jitterbugging fox on his back.” This print is from the series Ryuri Hanga Saku.
