A rather abstract and slighlty chaotic depiction of the home of El Greco, an artist who was admired by the Japanese artists of Munakata’s generation . No doubt produced during Munakata’s 1959 travels to Europe where he delivered lectures at key universities, including in New York.
An exquisite lithograph produced on a very textural Japanese ‘washi’ paper, published by
Yaskawa as part of their collaborative calendar project.
