ニューヨーク グリニッチ・ビィレッジの柵
A bustling scene of city-goers (and animals) busily go about their daily tasks in New York’s Greenwich Village. A single colour etching with an interesting, mixed perspective print. No doubt produced during Munakata’s 1959 travels to USA where he delivered lectures at key universities, including in New York.
This exquisite lithograph, produced from Munakata’s 1959 etching printed on a delicate and textural Japanese ‘washi’ paper, published by Yaskawa as part of their collaborative calendar project.
