AIt must have been a true blessing for Munakata to visit the Church at Auvers, the town of Van Gogh, one of his main inspirations. No doubt produced during Munakata’s 1959 travels to Europe where he delivered lectures at key universities, including in New York.

Yaskawa as part of their collaborative calendar project.
