Takashi Murakami is renowned for his super-charged mix of Pop, animé, and otaku. Creating a highly-stylized picture-plane, he layers a range of Japanese cultural and religious influences with bold colors and graphic patterns. Murakami is the founder of the postmodern art movement, “Superflat,” which combines elements of Japanese culture with the flattening of the image, which recalls earlier Japanese printmaking from the 19th century.
This is a rare opportunity to acquire the complete set of five prints. All are in mint condition and sold unframed. If you are interested in purchasing one or more of the prints, please get in touch and I’ll be happy to discuss. Contact the gallery with any questions.
