Cornish artist Terry Frost (1915-2003) played a pivotal role in the British abstract art movement, emerging as a prominent 20th-century abstract artist. Initially working in retail and serving in World War II, Frost discovered his passion for painting while in POW camps. Trained after the war, he explored construction, color, and collage techniques, earning acclaim, a knighthood, and Royal Academician status in the 1990s for his influential work exhibited globally.
