Five iPad drawings printed in colours, 2013, on wove paper, signed and dated on the front in black ink, from the edition of 200, ink stamped on the back by Emin International, within the original red ink stamped envelope, each sheet 20.8 x 14.6 cm.
As a result of her insomnia, Tracey Emin takes advantage of her sleep deprivation by creating drawings and doodles on her iPad. The medium relays Emin’s typical swift, active stroke. Using the female body as her subject, Emin offers a poignant and affecting narrative on femininity, trauma and intense physicality through her striking palette.
