Alert: System Infected (Magenta)” is by Invader, a French-born street artist. The print depicts speech without the use of text, capturing a sense of urgency when the figure to the left alerts viewers of alien invasion. Through this work, Invader continues his “Invasions,” the signature practice of placing ceramic mosaics in the streets of large cities like New York, Paris, and Hong Kong that include a character from Space Invaders. The pixelated style from his ceramic pieces are shown in this screen print, in which he limits his color palette to black, white, and magenta. This print is part of an edition of 60 and is signed and numbered.
