Original engraving printed in black ink on laid paper. Signed in the plate with the artist’s monogram lower left. A very fine 16th century/lifetime Meder “I.b” (of “II.b”) impression of the first state of two, printed after the appearance of the slipt stroke at the left elbow of the putto at the right, but well before the retouching of the shading on the thigh of the putto on the left.
