Victoria Burge was born in 1976 in New York, and now lives and works in Philadelphia. She holds a degree in Horticulture from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MFA in Book Arts and Printmaking from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
Inspired by the geometry of cartography, Burge’s prints and drawings re-imagine systems of mapping and the patterns they generate as abstracted topographies. Her work can be found in corporate, private and public collections, including The Philadelphia Museum of Art, The New York Public Library and Hilton Worldwide.
