Baby in a Sailor Suit
“Little sailor, rosy hued like a cloud from Melilla,
What seas might you be sailing towards?
Seated in a baby’s chair you have nonetheless,
Passed beyond the age of the first steps.
Everything combines in a harmony of white, pink, black and grey.
You are wearing a striped jersey, and a beret from which hangs a long black ribbon.
Your little left hand is directing a tiny finger,
Towards your sex ingenuously proffered between your spread thighs.
That childish sex is nothing other than another finger,
Bent like the one above in a symmetrical recall.
Like everyone, you carry the precocious imprint,
Of the scarified, sacrificed herd? and the bloody threads,
Did not spare you. You are no longer red, however,
You show up the pink of a more peaceful body.
Soon you will set sail for the sea of desires like Teresa of Avila.”
